Maintain your tresses
Dry hair can be tricky, especially in summer. To ensure it stays healthy, it’s important to get frequent trims. This will prevent the formation of split ends and make you feel so much lighter in the sweaty season.
Supply of hydration
Give your locks a constant supply of hydration with ample water and green smoothies before it can be sap moisture out. And increase the Omega 3 fatty acid and Biotin in your diet by eating seafood, eggs and milk. This will lend your hair a healthy texture
Hands off the heat
Your hair will be experienced under the temperature and sunshine all day so it doesn’t need any heat from styling tool at all. Put it away as much as you can. Combined with arid breeze and hot flat irons, dry hair can unnecessarily get an excess dose of heat, which can render it fried and parched. Plus, heat styling robs your hair of moisture making your hair unruly and unmanageable.
If you must, opt for styling products like hairspray and mousse to give your locks texture, volume and style.
Nourish deeply
A no-fail way to moisturize even the driest of strands is with a deep conditioning hair mask. Mix together 2 tablespoons each of honey, milk and coconut oil. Apply it to your scalp and lengths, leave it for 40 minutes and wash it off with warm water.
Moisture-drawing honey, lactic acid rich milk and conditioning coconut oil together form a power-packed nourishing mask that will repair dried, tired tresses. Use this as a trusted summer hair care tip for dry hair.
Protect your locks
Remember that the sun rays can cause considerable amount of damage to your tresses including causing them to lose color or even making them weak. Keep an umbrella or hat to shade your hair from direct sunlight. Alternatively, use leave-in conditioner which will protect your hair from sun exposure while styling it easily.
